Lázaro Focaccería: the new comfort food destination

Lázaro Focacceria is one of those places that bring new life to the Condesa neighborhood. With only four months since its opening, this little corner has earned a special place among lovers of good food, especially comfort food. Located in a place with outdoor tables and impeccable branding -with an adorable little dog as an icon, in honor of San Lázaro, the patron saint of stray dogs- this space is as pet friendly as it is delicious.

The essence of Lazaro is in the focaccia, which here is elevated to an art. Each sandwich is a masterpiece that combines fresh ingredients and surprising flavors with the aroma and texture of perfectly baked bread. The menu stands out for creations like the Marcello, with mortadella, pesto, burrata, blackberries, pistachio and honey; or the Jose, an explosion of comfort with breaded chicken, coleslaw, chipotle mayonnaise and Chihuahua cheese. They also have veggie options such as the Catalina, with ratatouille, straciatella cheese, arugula salad and basil. But they don't stop there: they also offer a selection of unique drinks and an irresistible sweet bread to close with a flourish.

The design of the space mixes classic and contemporary in a way that invites you to stay a while longer, either enjoying a coffee or browsing through their collection of merchandise, which includes pieces such as caps, bucket hats, t-shirts and totes. Between the personalized attention and its relaxed but well thought out atmosphere, Lázaro Focaccería is much more than a place to eat: it is a must for those looking for something special in the heart of Roma.
