After 15 years, Bauhaus returns with original lineup

For the first time in 15 years, the original Bauhaus line-up returns to Mexico to give a concert at the Frontón México.

Peter Murphy had come, but Bauhaus, with its original lineup, had not played in Mexico for 15 years. The concert will be on April 28 at the Frontón México and was brought by Noiselab, a production company that has given an important place to electronic music in the city and has a special affection for the gothic scene.

Why we recommend it

There are many bands who fit the moniker of "pioneers of goth rock", but Bauhaus was the first to take elements of post-punk and glam to create a dark and melancholic sound, intense and danceable.

Two years ago Peter Murphy performed with bassist Daniel J in Guadalajara to celebrate the band's 40th anniversary, but it had been a long time since the full line-up -with Daniel Ash and Kevin Haskins- had played in our country. We have it on very good authority that their last concerts in Los Angeles were a beautiful experience and that the band is still at the same level as in the eighties. So those who are expecting to see an iconic band, can be sure that they will not be disappointed. Tickets go on sale on January 18 starting at 10:00 am on the Fronticket platform.
