Nation of Wines: a celebration of wine in the CDMX

Wine in CDMX is living its best moment. In recent years, we have seen how places like Escorpio, Vinos Chidos, Rimessa, Bodega Fantasma, among others, have transformed the nightlife scene with bottles that break the rules of the traditional market. We are talking about natural, organic wines, with risky proposals and labels that are not only drunk, but told as stories. It is a phenomenon that continues to grow, with new spaces and bars popping up on every corner, and a palpable interest in connecting with the origins and processes behind each glass.

In this context, Nación de Vinos arrives in its sixth edition as more than just a festival; it is a celebration of Mexican wine and its undeniable place in this cultural boom. The event, which will take place on January 22 and 23 at Campo Marte, brings together the best of Mexican winemaking with more than 80 wineries, high-caliber restaurants such as Quintonil and Rosetta, and even the most renowned bars such as Handshake Speakeasy and Licorería Limantour.

The exciting thing about Nación de Vinos is not only the amount of options, but the way you can interact with the winemakers and producers. It is a space designed to listen to the stories behind each wine, understand the processes and discover labels you probably haven't tried yet. In addition, the event opens this year to a wider audience thanks to the sale of tickets at Boletia, which makes it an unmissable opportunity for wine lovers, from the most casual to those who already have a full cellar at home.

Another detail that makes it special is the focus on diversity. This year, San Luis Potosí will be the guest of honor, bringing not only its wines, but also its cultural and gastronomic richness with Constanzo chocolates and mezcal from Potosí. Because yes, Mexican wine has nuances that go beyond the classics from Valle de Guadalupe or Querétaro.

But beyond the labels and restaurants, there is something deeply appealing about Nación de Vinos: its ability to celebrate an industry that continues to grow and break new ground. If Mexican wine is already a revolution in bars and restaurants, this festival is its clearest and most exciting manifestation.

The date is at Campo Marte, and believe us, it's a plan you can't miss.
