To go to Salón Acme is to enter a microcosm where art is not only observed, but also experienced. For twelve editions now, this space has become a meeting point for the unexpected: emerging and consolidated artists, risky proposals, and an audience that breathes curiosity. It is a fair that does not feel like a fair, and that is exactly what makes it so special.
In the heart of Juárez, the venue -that large house that always seems to be about to tell you a secret- is as much a protagonist as the works themselves. The labyrinthine distribution of the space invites you to get lost, and in every corner there is something that causes you to pause: a painting that forces you to look twice, an installation that redefines how we occupy spaces, or simply an unexpected conversation you got into because you wanted to listen and know everything that is happening at the fair.

What distinguishes Salón Acme from other art fairs is its authenticity. There are no pretensions here; there are artists. There is risk. In this 12th edition, the selection includes projects from all latitudes of Mexico and beyond, with an approach that celebrates both personal and collective narratives. The Guest Projects Room, for example, highlights initiatives that question and expand the idea of what an art space can be, from independent collectives to emerging galleries that are setting the standard.

The program is also a testimony to its vitality: discussion tables, workshops and presentations that complement the visual experience with a deeper reflection. But it's not just about what happens in the official program. What I love about Salón Acme is the spontaneous interactions, how the relaxed energy of the place and the people who attend allows you to connect with the work, with the artists and with other visitors without that tension that sometimes creeps into the art world.
The fair also has something that could be called spirit: a sense of community that feels organic and sincere. It's a place where you can feel that everything is designed to highlight the essential, the art in dialogue with the people.
