Creation Laboratory
Installation that reinterprets one of the most emblematic instruments of the last 100 years. Conceived by artist Jerónimo Naranjo, with the intention of generating a collaboration with percussionist Milo Tamez. This ingenious ensemble breaks with the standardized vision of the drum set by not having any of its elements in contact with the floor. Instead, each component is suspended and interconnected acoustically through tensioned piano strings and springs, making the drums function as shared resonators. This allows for free and fluid movement.
