NOCTURNARIO EN EL BOSQUE DE CHAPULTEPEC
Every day

In addition to the zoo, the herpetarium and the Museo del Ajolote, Chapultepec Forest now opens its doors to the Nocturnario, a refuge for nocturnal species.

Here you will be able to observe animals that we don't see during the day: the horned owl, the Campanario owl, the red-kneed tarantula, the African pygmy hedgehog, raccoons, the Syrian hamster, opossums, and more. And their mission is that we learn to respect and care for them.

To protect the animals and not disturb them, each area is set with dim lights that simulate the natural darkness where they live. In addition, their areas have thermal plate systems and infrared lights to keep them in excellent conditions.

Inside the Nocturnario you will learn how they live, their behavior and characteristics, as well as their importance in Mexico City's ecosystem.

Admission is free and although the visits are during the day, the atmosphere will make you feel like you are in the middle of the night in the middle of the forest.

📍It is located in the temperate forest biome of the Chapultepec Zoo

FASHION ACTIONS BY MOMOROOM: SENTIMIENTO AND DITZY CORPORATION
October 18 and 19

Under a new edition of "Fashion Actions", Momo Room will present this weekend the first fashion shows of Sentimiento and Ditzy Corporation in the iconic space of Casa del Lago, in the heart of Chapultepec Forest.

Sentimiento, an art and design project founded by María Isas in 2020, invites us to explore a universe without limits, where each garment, installation and performance breaks schemes and rethinks concepts about gender, consumption and personal heritage. Maria transforms pre-existing garments, but not only in a material way, but weaves new narratives that defy convention, fusing fashion with art and sculpture.

On the other hand, Ditzy Corporation, born in 2019 from the vision of former photographer Adrian Fierro Lara, takes underground fashion to another level. Inspired by Paris Hilton's book, Confessions of an Heiress (2004), Ditzy mixes fun and cultural criticism, making a statement about Western beauty standards and the love-hate relationship Mexico and other countries have with them. With her irreverent approach, Ditzy invites us to see fashion from a fresh and transgressive perspective.

Ditzy Corporations will perform on Friday, October 18 at 5:00 PM and Sentimiento on Sunday, October 20 at 6:00 PM, both at Casa del Lago in Chapultepec.

SIXTH ANNIVERSARY FILIA
October 19

Filia Store is an experimental curatorial project founded in 2018 in Mexico City. It is located in Colonia Juárez and has become a meeting point for emerging designers, artists and creatives looking for a space to exhibit their creations. Filia's concept focuses on showcasing fashion, objects, accessories and art by independent designers, both local and international, with a strong focus on innovative design and contemporary art.

The space, created by Daniela Navarrete, was born out of the need to offer a physical platform for those creators who previously only sold their products online, giving them the opportunity to connect with their audience in a more direct way. Filia not only acts as a store, but also as a community space that organizes pop-ups, fashion events, parties and creative collaborations.

This Saturday, October 19, the store will present the launch of a collaboration with Gerardo Rocha and Sabrina Ol on the occasion of its sixth anniversary. There will be music, rosé wine and kombuchas.
